Tactile is a haptic pattern design tool for iPhone. This policy explains how Tactile handles your information. In short: Tactile requires no account and does not ask for personal information; it collects only anonymous usage and diagnostic data to improve the app, and never sells your data or uses it to track you.
Tactile uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the app is used and to diagnose crashes. This collects anonymous, aggregated data not linked to your identity:
Tactile does not collect your name, email, contacts, or location, uses no advertising and the IDFA is not accessed, and does not track you across other apps or websites.
If you use the in-app feedback feature, the message you write — along with your app version and device model — is sent to the developer via Google Firebase (Firestore) so the developer can read it and improve the app. It is not linked to your identity unless you include identifying details in your message, and it is never used for advertising or tracking.
The haptic patterns you create are stored locally on your device.
If Tactile offers optional iCloud sync, it uses your own private iCloud
account provided by Apple, so your patterns sync across your personal
devices. The developer has no access to your iCloud data. Files you choose to
export or share (.tactile, .ahap, Swift code) are sent
only where you direct them via the system share sheet.
The anonymous usage and diagnostic data described above is processed by Google as part of Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Firebase privacy and security information and the Google Privacy Policy. Tactile shares no data with any other third party and displays no ads.
Tactile is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children. The only data collected is the anonymous usage and diagnostic data described above.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
